Good evening everyone! Fiona @thedizzylimits here; thanks so much for such a fab intro Emma you gorgeous lady ☺️@steelandstitch. And for such a great week. I’ve definitely noted down some inspirational pieces and books!
Hi everyone and thank you for a warm welcome, I’m terribly nervous but you’ve all helped me ease in.
I love to craft with various materials. The purpose is usually the same though. To gift to others. Giving handmade is special, so is receiving it.
So this week, I’d love it if you could share your ‘gift’ crafts. Ones for others, yourself or those you’ve been given.
Share away to #craftastherapy_gift and I can’t wait for a feel good week.
What a wonderful gallery of gifts you’re all building! I’m so impressed.
Whether you’re making for those in your family, yourself, friends or people in need. A gift is the greatest thing you can give to another. It contains your time, your love and your positivity.
Thanks so much to crafters for your beautiful makes. Just gorgeous 😀
Keep tagging to #craftastherapy_gift and I’ll see you tomorrow for another grid. I’m off to continue making my chaps gift, a temperature blanket.
Such handmade beauties given and received. For friends, relatives, children and neighbours.
It always warms my heart to see so much selfless giving. Thank you all for tagging to #craftastherapy_gift 😀
I’ll be back tomorrow with another grid or two.
Have a great night.
The weather has been particularly chilly and drizzly today so I thought I’d tap into those Summer vibes from around the world.
Thanks so much for sharing!
I’ll be back later hopefully to share a grid from #craftastherapy_gift 😀
Have a great afternoon/morning x
Blankets, shawls and scarves…there’s something special about them when they’re handmade. Like a warm hug from the person who made it. With memories and love thrown in.
And if they’re gifts for you? So special. Time that you’ve set aside to make yourself something. Because you’re worth it too.
Thanks ladies for sharing your beautiful makes 😀
I’ll be back tomorrow, have a great night x
How very delightful are these gifted toys/figures. Anyone would be so lucky and proud to receive one.
I’m getting itchy fingers to create another little character myself. Thanks for sharing yours!
Apologies for my late post tonight. I’ll be back earlier tomorrow!
Please keep posting your gifts, given, received or for yourself to #craftastherapy_gift.
So many pretty colours.
Melbourne has had its regulation 4 seasons in a day today. Or close enough.
And these bright crafts cheered me up and made me feel all warm, like the hot chocolate I might be about to have. Thanks for sharing!
Keep tagging to #craftastherapy_gift there are still a couple of left 😀
Sometimes, the gift is not just in the giving, but in spending time with the recipient as well.
I loved this fun shot and the poncho. Thanks so much for sharing it with us @lejardindeceline 😀
Please keep sharing to #craftastherapy_gift and I’ll be back tomorrow with another grid.
Such beautiful gifts, given freely. And received with joy.
Sometimes it can be difficult to give to others something we’ve worked so hard on. To see it leave our side. But the sheer delight and thrill on the receivers face or through their words always, always makes it worthwhile. And more than that. It has you wanting to do it more and again.
Thanks for sharing your gifts.
This looks completely like the afternoon of love to have. Coffee, crochet and something to work on.
Hope you’re all having a fabulous day. I’ll be back later for one more post before handing over to the next mod.
Thanks for sharing @aidendecou
“It isn’t how much we give, but how much love we put into giving” – Mother Theresa
So very true.
You can see the love put into these gifts and the joy from the recipients. And aren’t children the most excited little people when seeing a handmade gift? They cherish them as if they do feel all your hours and love all in that one precious package.
Thank you so much crafters for tagging to this weeks #craftastherapy_gift!
That’s my final grid folks and I’ll be back a little later to introduce a fabulous moderator for the coming week!
I can’t believe how quickly this week has rushed by! I’ve had such a fabulous time here and I’m a bit sad to see the week come to an end.
Thank you all for your very warm welcome and your support tagging to #craftastherapy_gift, I’ve enjoyed seeing so many wonderful things made for others.
You have a lovely mod next week, her gallery is filled with such beautiful creations in the loveliest colours.
